The Birkenshaw Clinic of Acupuncture is home to acupuncturist Susie Murphy, who has 36 years of combined nursing and midwifery experience underpinning her knowledge how to restore health to both men and women.
Acupuncture Experience
Susie has studied western acupuncture for over nine years and regularly updates her knowledge and experience by attending continual development study days. These are run by the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
Midwife Experience
Susie is a former registered Nurse and Midwife, now retired from the NHS after specializing in community midwifery and women’s health for over 36 years. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of all stages of women’s health are key to delivering the best care for her acupuncture patients.
