The Birkenshaw Clinic of Acupuncture is home to acupuncturist Susie Murphy, who has 36 years of combined nursing and midwifery experience underpinning her knowledge how to restore health to both men and women.
Acupuncture Experience
Susie has studied western acupuncture for over nine years and regularly updates her knowledge and experience by attending continual development study days. These are run by the British Medical Acupuncture Society. Susie is also a regional group leader for the society facilitates regular teaching sessions to fellow acupuncturist in central Scotland.
Midwife Experience
Susie is a registered Midwife and former Nurse working for the NHS as a community midwife and specialize in women’s health for over 36 years. Her experience and understanding of all stages of pregnancy are key to delivering the best care for her acupuncture patients.
